At Foundation Christian School, we are committed to providing a Christ-centered, academically excellent education for every student entrusted to us. Because our mission is rooted in faith and community, we view giving not simply as financial support—but as partnership in shaping the next generation for Christ.

Why Giving Matters

Because of the demographics in which we are located, we cannot charge enough to operate solely on tuition. Our teachers are highly qualified, incredibly dedicated, and largely unpaid. When I say ‘unpaid,’ I don’t mean that they don’t get a competitive wage, I truly mean that they are unpaid. There are some months when we are able to give a portion of our staff one or two hundred dollars after bills, but the majority of the time they are completely volunteer. Our teachers are not only our biggest asset, they are our biggest donors through their time, money, and effort. Our teachers are so worthy of their hire – It’s Biblical to pay people what they are worth. When you invest in our teachers, you’re investing in the transformation of lives.

Money is definitely not the most important thing, but it is the necessary fuel that drives us forward. When you give to Foundation Christian School, you’re investing in lives. If the Lord tarries, the grandchildren of our students will still be living 100 years from now! Your investment now is not just for their life, it’s for the generations to come.

Psalm 154:4 says “One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.” We are in the business of training students so intentionally, that they commend that wisdom and faithfulness to generations. That’s our vision.

Our Top Giving Priorities

1. Investing in Our Teachers

Exceptional Christian education begins with exceptional educators. We are committed to honoring and retaining qualified, spiritually grounded teachers by providing competitive compensation and ongoing professional development. Supporting our faculty ensures stability, excellence in instruction, and long-term impact in the lives of our students.

First Stage Goal: $50,000/year = $500/month to each teacher.

2. Expanding Transportation Opportunities

Reliable transportation increases accessibility for families and broadens our reach within the community. Expanding and strengthening our transportation options helps more students benefit from a Christ-centered education.

Second Stage Goal: $25,000 for the vehicle + reliable monthly giving for insurance.

3. Providing Scholarships

We desire for families who value Biblical worldview education to have access to it. Scholarship funding allows us to partner with families who may not otherwise be able to afford private Christian education, opening doors for students to grow academically and spiritually. We serve many families with multiple children enrolled. Through scholarships given directly to the school’s fund will enable these faithful families to continue with FCS through graduation. We are excited to be exploring options with RenewaNation. They are a qualifying Scholarship Granting Organization. Should Missouri “opt in,” with the opportunity afforded in the Big Beautiful Bill, RenewaNation’s dispersement of scholarship funds would allow us to grant scholarships without any government “strings” attached. This would allow us to remain autonomous, enabling us to provide scholarships without compromising any part of our Mission.

We will update this page as progress is made towards this end. If we are able, beginning January of 2027, anyone will be able to designate up to $1,700 of their federal taxes to go to RenewaNation’s Scholarship Fund that will then be designated to Foundation Christian School. Every gift—large or small—directly supports the mission of Foundation Christian School.
